Congratulations to Craig Stewart and Drew Johnson for their impressive 1/4 mile times!

A private trackday was held at Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield, California on 11/21/2009. GIAC was well represented by Drew Johnson in his 2007 E92 DCT M3, and Craig Stewart in his 2007 E90 6MT 335i. Drew was able to run a best time of 12.043 at 115.5 miles per hour, making him the fastest naturally aspirated E92 M3 in the world to date. Craig brought his driving skills to the track as well with a best time of 12.153 at 115.51 miles per hour. This is the fastest pass on record for a full weight 6MT E90 335i. Modification lists for both cars are listed below, in addition to the time slips, and an in-car video from Drew's M3. Congratulations to Craig and Drew for raising the bar!
